A Pie for a Pie

As the holidays come and go, There are a select few who are left with the sweet savory taste of fresh homemade pies from one of Virginia`s best bakers. If you are a client of DC Insiders Real Estate Team, you know what this means and you are stricken with the anticipation of next year`s treat. Each year, the team has rewarded their clients by finding the yummiest and most memorable holiday pie`s from some of the area`s best bakers. One client of the team, Brian Addison commented “Each year we have dreams about the pie`s Tom and Nancy`s team bring. They have been a delight and we are grateful for their hospitality.” Another client Jane Goodall said, “We are not from around here and for the past four years, Tom and Nancy have made us feel as if we are home, by selecting the most delicious holiday pie`s from the area`s best baker`s. It gives us a piece of our own holiday tradition.” Each year the team will look for and select a baker using strict criteria. They look for local bakers that share the same philosophy as they do when it comes to business. The baker selected has to be passionate, creative and supportive of local farmers and purchase local ingredients. Nancy said, “We love the holiday times and finding the best baker to make our pies brings joy to us. Knowing that we are a special part of our clients holiday makes us feel good.”

This past year we picked Red Truck Bakery, a small bakery in the foothills of Virginia`s Piedmont region. They pride themselves on providing the highest quality ingredients from local farmers and it shows. “The small sustainable business is much like our own, said Tom.” We are local, small and care about our quality.
